PEMANFAATAN PERANGKAT LUNAK PCI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKURASI ANALISIS SPASIAL
Abstract
Usage of PCI Software Application Ver. 7 in satellite image processing will definitely assist User because of its capability in finalizing any problems affected by projection conversion process from image coordinates into ground coordinates. Any mistake may occur at the time of GPS data collection and at the time of satellite data recording. To avoid these kind of mistakes, it is necessary to do orthorectification of planimetric position at the same time with the process of coordinates transformation into TM-3 system. In principle, for the occurate process of satellite image geocorrection is required 2 basic data, i.e.: Ground Control Point (GCP) coordinates data: points in a certain coordinate system which recognize its position in the field and its coordinate value ; Digital Elevation Model (DEM) that is mathematical model of 3 ground surface dimensions which can be built on a network of Spot Height Point (Orthocenter). PCI Software Application Ver. 7 can be used to speed up the process of orthorectification. Key words : Orthorectification, Rectification, GPS, GCP, Ikonos Satellite, PCI Ver. 7.0References
