Analisis Hubungan antara Pelatihan dan Insentif dengan Peningkatan Kinerja Karyawan PT. Royal Standard Karawang

Abstract

This research is to study the relationship among factors related to performance of      PT. Royal Standard Karawang’s employees. The factors comprise trainings and incentives which are determined as independent variables to predict their influence towards employee’s work performance which is determined as dependent variable respectively. The research is conducted within 5 months, from March 2009 to July 2009 covering planning, consulting, doing, processing and reporting.   Research design used is descriptive correlation design with conducting survey and testing the correlation between training, incentive and performance using data based on questioner given to both employees and company management, comprising company data and supervisor – manager appraisal reports. In order to reduce the error possibility in data processing, it is used an SPSS ver. 16 program software to verify the validity, reliability, determinant, normality, homogeneity variance, independency test,  t test and F test.Population in this research is PT. Royal Standard Karawang’s employee. The number of respondent in this research is 50 people which are got from employee’s data with proportional random sampling system. The respondent’s profile is described based on sex, age, educational background and service period.Based on data processing result and research analysis there is a strong  relation between training and employee’s performance with score 72.1 %. This is meant that bringing the employee to the training programs delivering significant contributions to the increasing of employee’s performance. Meanwhile for overall incentives also delivering contribution to the employee’s performance with score 35.2 %. This is meant that giving some incentives to the employee also delivering contribution to the increasing of employee’s performance. Based on these result it can be concluded that training and incentives all together delivering positive impact in increasing employee’s performance at PT. Royal Standard Karawang.
