Abstract

Rule of Law No. 6 of 2014 on the village. In Article 1, paragraph (1) of Law No. 6 of 2014 on the village explained that the village is a village and traditional village or called by another name, while the village is based on Law No. 32 Year 2004 on Regional Government is the village or the so-called other names, hereinafter called the village, is the unity of the legal community who have boundaries jurisdiction, authority to control and manage the interests of local communities based on the origin and the local customs are recognized and / or established in the National Government system and are in the district / city.In the implementation, there may be difficulty to maintain the existence of the village and traditional village together because there is an explanation of Article 6 of Law No. 6 of  2014, which reads: "This provision is to prevent the overlapping region, authority, institutional duplication between the Village and the Village People in 1 (one) area then in 1 (one) region there are only Village or Village People. For that already happened overlap between the Village and the Village People in 1 (one) region, must be selected one type of village in accordance with the provisions of this Act. "Principally related to the Village People Village People has the function of government, finance Village, Rural development, as well as the facilitation and guidance received from the government district / municipality. In this position, the Village and the Village People got the same treatment from the Government and Local Government. Therefore, in the future of the Village and the Village People can change the face of the village and the governance of effective governance, the implementation of the development of efficient, as well as community development and empowerment of communities in the region.
