Abstract

Abstract. This research involves the development of firefighting robot prototype using Arduino Uno as the microcontroller to control all the robot's components and ESP32 as the communication tool between the robot and each room. The prototype robot is designed to search for a path to rooms with fire and extinguish it. The robot prototype moves using wheels with DC motors as actuators and is supported by several sensors to determine the path and direction, including infrared sensors and fire sensors. The result of this research is a firefighting robot prototype that can detect the path to rooms with fire and extinguish them. The research utilizes the Sequential prototyping method, which involves structured sequential steps in prototype development. Initially, a rough or low-fidelity prototype is created to test the concept and gather feedback. Then, the prototype is gradually improved by adding more details and complete functionality.   Keywords: Robot Prototype, Fire Sensor, Path Detector
