Kiat Memulihkan Kondisi Perekonomian Indonesia Di tengah Krisis Ekonomi Global dan Keikutsertaan Indonesia Pada Trans Pasific Partnership 2016
Abstract
Changing United States economic policy which is increasing interest rate in Central
Bank of United States/Federal Reserved was create economic instability in many countries all
over the worlds. The objective of this research is to asess and examine how Indonesia could
survive from economic crisis 2015? How the government of Indonesia could manage macro
economic indicator properly, which include rate exchange fluctuation, inflation, intererest rate
and balance payments during the worlds oil prices falling down at the price US $ 50 to prevent
prolong economic uncertainty? How far the government of Indonesian efforts to create and
facilitate condusive trade and investment environment through a series of government
Economic pakages program due to effective implmentation of ASEAN Economic Community
(AEC) with among other ASEAN member countries in 2016? How far Indonesia’s competitively
Strength compare to the other ASEAN member countries in implementing the principles and
other arrangements agreed in the AEC? How far readiness of government of Indonesia to joint
broader commitment into Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) which includes well known
industrialized countries such as Japan, United States, South Korea, China in 2016?.
The research found that the Indonesia would still facing dificulties to find out faster
solution to support emidiate economic recovery at the end 2015 due to some reasons such us
low economic growth, devisit current transaction account quite significant reached RP. -19,1
Trillion, too high landing interest rate it to support the business activity (12.5% per anum),
international oil prices remain low, high percentage of unemployment recorded 9,05 %, the
value of export could not able to achieve national medium development planning program 3%,
international reserve continueing decrease since August 2015 predicted until the the first
quarter of 2016. Domestic investment realization was only one of thegovernment economic
policy which sucsessfull to achived the national target. To comply with regional commitment
both AEC and TPP characterized by facilitating cross boder movement of trade and
investment; business sevices and other services; technology; capital; people and labour
mobility etc, Indonesia faced some competitiveness obtacles namely: complicated bureucratic
procedures in providing business licenses; man power’s competencies; high cost of money;
poor infrastructure etc. The research recommend to the Government of Indonesia should
induce higher economic growth, increase man powers competencies to face tight competition
international labor market, encouarge increasing export, consistence to review the policy on
macro economic issues as well as improve and encourage local business community to
implement the principle of common market; establish ASEAN competitive economic zone; and
balance economic development among the member countries. The research aslo recommend
the goverment of Indonesia should enhance and promote the competitiveness of small and
medium skill industry; simplify beureaucratic procedures, build integrated infrastructures to
support national economic development.
