Faktor Pendukung Keberhasilan Singapura Sebagai Salah Satu Pusat Perdagangan Dunia (Kajian Perspektif Multinational Corporation di Singapura)

Abstract


Singapore, that used to be known as a small country and poor natural resources, becomes a country with the most competitive economic development in the world, even it successfully become the world comerce center in 2000 era. Identifically, the success is supported by the competitive advantage of the country and sustainable economic development dynamics that happen in Singapore. Those factors are determined by the business satisfaction of Multinational Corporations. The service that is given by the Singapore government is an indicator of the busines satisfaction of Multinational Corporation in Singapore.

         Are those factors mentioned above, will directly influence the business satisfaction of multinationalocorporation and Singapore’s success as one of the world commerce center?. And how are the indirect influence moderated by Multinational Corporation business satisfaction variable interesting topics to be discussed in the survey research.

          The results of the research are:

The Singapore’s success  as one of the world commerce center is reached by several business strategies. In order to cover it’s weakness, Singapore is capable to enhance it’s economy by the touch of MNC.Various business strategies applied by Singapore in order to covers the weakness are able to improve the economy indicator in line with the improvement reached by modern countries in the world.

Based on causalistic test, the competitive advantage and sustainable economic development simultaneously and directly give positive influence (0,69), relatively strong, and significant to the business satisfaction of MNC in Singapore.

Parcially and directly, the competitive advantage gives positive influence (0,301) and significance, to the business satisfaction of MNC in Singapore.Parcially and directly, sustainable economic development gives positive influence (0,579) to the business satisfaction of MNC in Singapore. Parcially and directly, the competitive advantage gives positive influence (0,207) and significance, to the success of Singapore as one of the world commerce center. Parcially and directly, the sustainable economic development gives positive influence (0,444) and significance, to the success of Singapore as one of the world commerce center.

Directly, the business satisfaction of MNC gives positive influence (0,240) and significance, to the success of Singapore as one of the world commerce center.

The competitive  advantage in the context of geographic position gives positive influence (0,526) and significance. The condusive security sector gives weak positive influence (0,089) and unsignificance. The erection of law gives positive influence (0,574) and significance. Work discipline gives positive influence (0.556) and significance. High business infrastructure gives positive influence (0,609) and significance. Service sector development gives positive influence (0,456) and significance. Income percapita gives positive influence (0,514) and singnificance to the business satisfaction of MNC in Singapore.

The sustainable economic development in context of limitation, and capability of natural resources gives positive  influence (0,467) and significance, the widening of regional market gives positive influence (0,552) and significan, the birth of new enterpreneur gives positive influence (0,563) and significance, the creation of new inovation gives positive influence (0,456) and significance, the economy restructuritation gives positive influence (0,619) and significance to the business satisfaction of MNC in Singapore.

Indirect influence of business satisfaction of MNC is able to moderate significant relation of competitive advantage and sustainable economic development to the success of Singapore as one of the world commerce center.The business satisfaction of MNC could strengthen the direct relation of competitive advantage and sustainable economic development to the success of singapore as one of the world commerce center and at this chance of research could be made as one of unobservable moderating variable
