PENGARUH PROFITABLITAS DAN KESEMPATAN INVESTASI TERHADAP KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN EMITEN (Studi pada Perusahaan yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Jakarta Periode 2002-2003)

Abstract

This study intends to examine the effect of profitability and investment opportunities against the policy of total cash dividends of public companies in Jakarta With the ever use liquidity as a variable amplifier (moderator variable). Profitability measured by return on investment (ROI), opportunities diproksikam by fixed asset investment,  and  moderate  vaziabel  liquditas  as  proxies  by  the  current  ratio  on  the  Jakarta  Stock Exchange. The population of this study are all companies in Indonesia stock exchange listing and distribute dividends in 2002-2003. Results research this is the amount of the dividend distribution policy of companies affected by the profitability and strengthened by the company's liquidity.     Keywords: dividends, profitability, return on investment
