SISTEM KEAMANAN PINTU RUMAH BERBASIS FACE RECOGNITION

Abstract. Security is very necessary in daily activities, especially when it comes to authority or privacy. Traditional security systems require keys, passwords, RFID cards or ID cards to gain access. The downside is that it is difficult to remember, can be duplicated, or stolen by others. Therefore, the author makes a prototype of a Face Recognition-based home door security system to increase security in certain rooms that involve authority or privacy. A form of security that is difficult to imitate, open or modify by others is to use automatic identification of biological characteristics that are always owned and characterized by every human being. Such identification is known as biometrics. These characteristics can be seen from physical characteristics, such as fingerprints, facial expressions, eye retina, and voice. Facial recognition is one of the most popular biometric methods.
