Abstract

Menghadapi keadaan pasar yang semakin kompetitif, berbagai perusahaan di industri manufaktur melakukan berbagai improvisasi untuk melakukan optimalisasi proses produksi. Pertumbuhan inovasi yang cepat telah menyebabkan tingginya persaingan dan variasi produk yang di inginkan. Peningkatan produktivitas dan kualitas barang merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam merespon antusias dari pelanggan. Perusahaan yang ingin meningkatkan produktivitas adalah dengan mengurangi waktu Set-up mesin, changeover, lead time, dan pembenahan proses produksi dalam suatu industri. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa seberapa jauh penerapan metode Single Minutes Exchange of Die (SMED) di industri manufaktur untuk mempercepat waktu pergantian dies dan set-up mesin. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Sistematic Literature Review (SLR) dinilai sangat cocok diterapkan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan SMED, dikarenakan dengan banyaknya referensi dapat membantu penelitian lain dalam mengaplikasikannya.  Penelitian ini menemukan 41 artikel membahas metode SMED industri manufaktur. Namun setelah dianalisa lebih lanjut ada 6 artikel dengan judul yang sama dan 35 artikel berbeda yang semuanya membahas kegunaan dan fungsi SMED pada industri manufaktur di berbagai sektor. Manfaat dalam penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan hasil produksi pada industri manufaktur seperti efisiensi waktu set-up, menurunkana waktu changeover, dan meningkatkan produktivitas dalam industri manufaktur
